When you first land on your employer home, Omnivoo helps you find your footing with a short guided tour and a list of what you can set up while your business is verified. This guide explains both.

The Product Tour

The first time you sign in, a short spotlight tour walks you through Home. Each step dims the screen and highlights one part of it with a card. There are never more than four steps. Before your business is verified: Once your business is verified, for example when someone joins your team later: On a phone the sidebar is the bar along the bottom of the screen, and Ask Omni and Book a meeting are under More, so the last step points there. A step whose part of the page is not on screen is left out. If a highlighted card is further down the page, Omnivoo scrolls to it first. Each card shows where you are (for example 2 of 4), a title, a short description, Back from the second step, and Next, which reads Done on the last step. The close button in the corner skips the tour, and so does Escape. Once you finish or skip it, the tour does not come back. Employees and contractors get their own tour of their Home. See Your Employee Dashboard and Your Contractor Dashboard.

While You Wait

You cannot hire employees or add contractors until your business is verified. Until then, your employer home leads with a Business verification card that says where your verification stands, and a While you wait card with a N of 5 done counter. It lists what you can set up in the meantime: A finished task shows Done. Every other task has an Open button that takes you to the page where you finish it. Once your business is verified, Home switches to the full employer home. See Employer Dashboard.
There is deliberately no “connect a bank account” step here. Linking a bank account happens after your business is verified, which is why verification is the step that unlocks payouts.

What Omnivoo Remembers

To keep these aids from getting in your way, Omnivoo remembers whether you finished the tour and whether you have visited your Compliance page. You see each one only until you are done with it.
