# People

> View and manage your employees and contractors in one unified directory.

The **People** page is a single directory of everyone you work with on Omnivoo. India EOR employees and contractors all appear in one list, so you can manage your whole team from one place. To learn how contractors differ from employees, see [What Are Contractors](/contractors/what-are-contractors).

## Where to find it

Click **People** in the left sidebar. The page header reads "People" with the subtitle "View and manage your employees and contractors". (The page URL is `/employer/people`.)

To add someone, click **Add people** at the top right. This opens the Add people chooser. See [Adding people](/employer/adding-people).

## Requests from contractors

A contractor can ask to be engaged by your company, rather than waiting for you to invite them. When one has, a **Requests from contractors** card sits above your team list, with the note "These contractors asked to be engaged by your company. Review the request and set their terms."

Each request shows the contractor's name and email, their country, how long ago they asked, and any note they wrote. A request from someone who has not finished their own Omnivoo setup is marked "Still finishing their Omnivoo setup". That is not a blocker: you can accept them and the engagement waits on them.

* **Review & accept** opens the contractor invite wizard with their details filled in, so you set the rate, scope of work and payment terms. The final button reads **Accept & send agreement**. See [Inviting a Contractor](/contractors/inviting-a-contractor).
* **Decline** asks you to confirm. You can add a reason, which the contractor is shown.

For the contractor's side of this, see [Inviting your own client](/contractors/inviting-your-client).

## Requests from employees

An employee can ask to be hired by your company through Omnivoo's Employer of Record service, rather than waiting for you to add them. When one has, a **Requests from employees** card sits above your team list, with the note "These people asked to be employed through your company. You set their salary and start date when you accept."

Each request shows their name and email, how long ago they asked, and any note they wrote. Someone who signed up with an email and never set a name shows as their address.

* **Review & accept** opens the hire wizard with their email filled in and locked, so you set the salary, start date, job title and the rest. See [Hiring an EOR employee](/eor/hiring-eor-employee).
* **Decline** asks you to confirm. You can add a reason, which the employee is shown.

Accepting is a hire, so your company has to pass business verification first. Until it does, the card says "Finish business verification before you can hire anyone" and the only action is **Finish business verification**, which takes you to company setup. Declining still works.

For the employee's side of this, see [Inviting your employer](/employee-self-service/inviting-your-employer).

## Search and type filter

* **Search** - a box to filter by name or email. It appears only once you have more than eight people, and it waits for you to stop typing before it filters.
* **Type** - a button group with three options: **All**, **Employees**, and **Contractors**. It appears only when you have both employees and contractors. "Employees" covers both EOR and payroll workers.

## The team table

Each row shows the following columns:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| **Name** | Full name and email, with an avatar |
| **Job title** | The person's job title, or a dash |
| **Status** | Current status, shown as a colour-coded badge. Under it, what an EOR hire is still waiting on |
| **Salary** | Compensation amount with currency and pay period |
| **Start date** | When the person started |
| **Type** | A badge reading **Employee** (for EOR and payroll workers) or **Contractor** |

## What a hire is waiting on

An EOR hire who has not finished onboarding carries a line under their status badge saying what is outstanding, for example "Bank account and PAN". Two are named and the rest are counted, and the bank account comes first because it is what stops the money: without it the payout fails after you have funded the run.

A person whose onboarding is done reads **Nothing outstanding**. A contractor reads a dash, because none of it applies to them.

Above the table, a banner names anyone who cannot be paid at all on the next run, so you can chase them before you fund it rather than after.

The table also has a right-hand actions column. It stays empty for most people and shows a **Copy invite link** button only on rows for pending contractor invites.

A count of how many rows are shown appears below the table (for example, "Showing 8 of 25").

If your team is empty, the table shows a **No team members yet** empty state with an **Add people** button. If a filter or search excludes everyone, it shows **No matches** with a **Clear filters** button instead.

## Pending contractor invites

Contractors you have invited but who have not yet accepted appear in the list with a pending status. These rows are not clickable, but each one has a **Copy invite link** button so you can resend the link directly to the contractor. See [Inviting a Contractor](/contractors/inviting-a-contractor) for the full flow.

## Viewing a person's profile

Click any active row to open that person's profile, where you can see their details, payroll, documents, and compliance (for employees) or engagement, agreements, invoices, and payouts (for contractors). Where a row opens depends on the person's type: EOR-employee and contractor rows open the per-person hub, while payroll-employee rows open the payroll employee detail page. See [Viewing a person's profile](/employer/person-detail).

## Exporting the list

Click **Export CSV** to download the team as a file named `my-team.csv`. The button appears only once there is somebody to export. The export always contains your full deduped roster (every person, not just the filtered or searched subset currently shown in the table). The columns, in order, are Name, Email, Type, Status, Pay, and Added on. **Pay** is written as `<amount> <currency>/<period>` (for example, `50000 INR/monthly`) and is left blank for anyone with no compensation on file.
