# Viewing and Accepting Your Offer Letter

> How to review, sign, and download your offer letter as an Omnivoo employee.

Signing your offer letter is a required onboarding step. It confirms your employment with the company that hired you through Omnivoo's Employer of Record (EOR) service in India. This guide shows how to review it, sign it, and download the fully signed copy.

## Finding Your Offer Letter

Your offer letter is the first card on the **Documents** page. Click **Documents** in the sidebar to open it.

While it is unsigned, **Sign your offer letter** also appears in the **Needs your attention** card on Home and links to the same place.

<Note>
  This same card is the **Offer Letter** step of the guided onboarding wizard (deep link `?step=offer-letter`). New hires sign their offer letter there while setting up their account. See [Setting Up Your Account (Onboarding)](/employee-self-service/employee-onboarding).
</Note>

## What You See

The card shows one of four states:

* **Being prepared** - the letter is written once every earlier onboarding step is done, because it includes the details you gave. After that it takes a few seconds, and we email you when it is ready.
* **Ready to sign** - read it, then sign.
* **You have signed** - Omnivoo is counter-signing. This is usually the same day.
* **Signed by both** - the fully signed copy is available to download.

## Reviewing and Signing

<Steps>
  <Step title="Read the offer letter">
    Read your salary, start date, notice period and probation.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Review and sign offer letter">
    This opens our e-signature provider in a window of its own.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign there, and you are returned here">
    The card updates on its own once the signature comes back. If it has not moved after a moment, click **Refresh**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Info>
  The signature, the time, and a tamper-evident hash of the signed PDF are all recorded, which is what makes the letter a document your employer and Omnivoo can both rely on.
</Info>

## Waiting for the counter-signature

Your offer letter is signed by two people: you, and Omnivoo as your employer of record. After you sign, the card reads that Omnivoo is counter-signing. Nothing is needed from you, and the fully signed copy appears here and under **Documents** once it is done.

## If something in the letter is wrong

Do not sign it. Talk to your employer first: the terms come from them, and a corrected letter is reissued. Declining tells your employer and nothing else happens, so no payroll and no start date until it is sorted out.

## After it is fully signed

Use **Download** to save a copy. Keep it: it is the document that proves your terms.
