# Your Contractor Dashboard

> A tour of your contractor dashboard - your wallet, to-do list, money on the way, clients, and what you need to get paid.

Your dashboard is the first thing you see after you sign in. It gathers what needs your attention, what you have earned, and the work each company has engaged you for. It is also where you finish the setup tasks that are not part of the [onboarding wizard](/contractors/contractor-onboarding).

The header greets you by name, says how many clients you have and which currencies you are paid in, and has a **New invoice** button.

## What's on the page

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| Wallet | At the top. A separate balance for each currency you hold, each with its own withdraw control. Until you add a payout account it links to **Profile** > **Tax & payouts**, where you add one. One payout account serves every currency. Shown only if your payouts land in a wallet, and only once a company has set you up for payments. See [Payout methods and withdrawing from your wallet](/contractors/payout-methods-and-withdrawals). |
| Invest in US stocks | A button under the Wallet card that opens your investing account with our partner. |
| To-do | Anything waiting on you right now. Shown only when there is something. See below. |
| Money on the way | Follows your invoices from sent to paid, in four steps: **Sent** (waiting for your client), **Approved** (your client agreed to pay), **On the way** (paid, reaching you, with the expected date) and **Paid this month**. Each step shows one amount per currency. Amounts in different currencies are never added together. **View all** opens your invoices. |
| Paid to you | What was paid to you in each of the last six months, one small chart per currency. |
| Invoices | Your five most recent invoices, with **View all**. See [Submitting invoices](/contractors/submitting-invoices). |
| Clients | Each company you work with, with your rate and how you bill them. See below. |
| Getting paid | Whether everything you need to get paid is in place: your **Identity** check, your **Tax form**, your **Payout account** and your **Agreements**. |

With no invoices yet, the Invoices section reads "No invoices yet" with a **Submit an invoice** button. With no clients, the Clients card reads "No engagements yet" and offers **Invite a client**, which takes you to [Inviting your own client](/contractors/inviting-your-client).

## Your to-do list

The **To-do** card is built for you by Omnivoo, so it only shows tasks that actually apply to you right now, and it is not shown at all when nothing is outstanding. Each row has a coloured dot for how urgent it is (red blocks you, amber is a warning, blue is for information) and a button that takes you to the task. These are the tasks you may see:

| Task | What it means |
| - | - |
| Verify your identity | Your identity verification has not been completed yet. See [Verifying your identity](/contractors/verify-your-identity). |
| Sign your tax form | Your tax form is prepared and waiting for your signature. See [Contractor tax forms](/contractors/contractor-tax-forms). |
| Sign your work agreement | A company has sent you a work agreement to sign. See [Work agreements](/contractors/contractor-work-agreements). |
| Your identity verification has expired | Your verification is no longer valid. Run it again. |
| Your identity verification is expiring soon | Your verification is close to expiring. Run it again before it lapses. |
| Your documents are under review | An uploaded document is still with our team. See [Your Documents page](/contractors/contractor-identity-documents). |

<Info>
  **Sign your tax form** and **Sign your work agreement** are setup tasks that happen here, not in onboarding. You add a payout account in **Profile** > **Tax & payouts**. The signing tasks only appear once your identity verification is approved.
</Info>

If a task you are expecting is not there yet, it is not ready for you. Reload the page later and it will appear once it is.

Straight after you sign something, its row shows a spinner and **Confirming…** instead of its button. A signature is only real once our signing partner confirms it, which is a few seconds behind you coming back, and the row would otherwise invite you to sign the same thing again. The row is not hidden and not ticked off: if the confirmation never lands, the button comes back.

<Note>
  Setting you up for payments is a step your client completes on their side, so it never appears as a task here. Until at least one company you work with has done it, the **Wallet** card does not show, and a withdrawal reports "None of your clients have set you up for payments yet". Ask the company that engaged you if it stays that way.
</Note>

## Clients

Each company that has engaged you gets a row in the **Clients** card, with **Invite a client** at the top. Each row shows:

* **Company** - the company name
* **Billing and terms** - how you bill (Hourly, Monthly retainer, or Fixed one-off) and when payment is due (Net 15, Net 30, or Due on receipt)
* **Rate** - your hourly rate, monthly retainer, or fixed amount, in the engagement currency

If a company is offboarding you, or has offboarded you, the row says so. New work appears here once a company invites you, or once a client you invited yourself accepts. Your full work agreements are under **Contracts**. See [Work agreements](/contractors/contractor-work-agreements) and [Inviting your own client](/contractors/inviting-your-client).

## Getting around your account

The sidebar has six items:

| Where you land | What it's for |
| - | - |
| Home | This dashboard. |
| Clients | The companies you work with, plus invites you have sent. See [Your clients and work history](/contractors/your-work-history). |
| Contracts | Read and sign your [work agreements](/contractors/contractor-work-agreements). You sign first, then the company countersigns. |
| Invoices | [Submit invoices](/contractors/submitting-invoices) for your work and track each one through its statuses. |
| Payouts | See the money paid to you and its status. See [Getting paid](/contractors/getting-paid-payouts). |
| Documents | Review the documents on file and re-upload any that were rejected. See [Your Documents page](/contractors/contractor-identity-documents). |

On a phone the first four get a tab and **Payouts** and **Documents** sit behind **More**.

## Product tour

The first time you open your dashboard, a short tour points out **Getting paid**, **New invoice**, your pages, and **Ask Omni**. On a phone, **Payouts**, **Documents** and **Ask Omni** are under **More**. Once you finish or skip it, it does not come back.

## If something looks wrong

* If a rate, billing mode, or payment terms looks incorrect, those are set by the company on your engagement. Reach out to the company that engaged you.
* If your compliance screening came back blocked, you cannot proceed. Contact support at [contact@omnivoo.com](mailto:contact@omnivoo.com).
