# Statutory filings (PF, ESI, TDS, Form 16)

> How Omnivoo handles your India statutory filings so you don't have to track them.

When Omnivoo runs as your Employer of Record in India, we handle your statutory filings for you. You do not need to track deadlines or file anything yourself.

## What Omnivoo files for you

The **Compliance & Documents** page shows a **Statutory compliance** card confirming that these are filed by Omnivoo on your behalf:

* **PF** (Provident Fund)
* **ESI** (Employees' State Insurance)
* **TDS** (Tax Deducted at Source)
* **Form 16** (the annual TDS certificate for employees)

These filings are calculated and submitted as part of your payroll runs, so they stay in step with the salaries you pay. Each paid run adds the filings its deductions owe, including the quarterly TDS return (Form 138, due 31 July, 31 October, 31 January and 31 May) and Form 16 (due 15 June after the year), and each one moves to filed once we've filed it on the government portal. A payroll run's page lists its month's filings, see [Payroll run detail](/payroll/payroll-run-detail#statutory-filings).

## Seeing your filing status

Statutory compliance is a managed, done-for-you service, so there is no filing portal for you to operate. Omnivoo still files everything for you.

If a filing goes overdue, a red banner appears near the top of your Home dashboard reading "N overdue compliance filing(s)", with a **View** shortcut to the [Compliance](/compliance/compliance-and-documents) page. That banner is the only place your dashboard reports on filings, and it is there to keep you informed rather than because you need to act on it. When nothing is overdue there is nothing to see.

<Info>
  **All employees are treated as work-from-home**

  For India EOR, employees are treated as working from home, so Maharashtra labour rules (such as Professional Tax and Labour Welfare Fund) apply. Omnivoo applies these for you.

## Where to find it

Click **Compliance** in the left sidebar. The **Statutory compliance** card sits above **Signed agreements**. It is shown only if you hire employees; if you pay contractors and do not hire, you never file PF, ESI or TDS, so it is not shown.

If you ever have a question about a specific filing, contact Omnivoo support and we will pull the details for you.
