# Owners and directors

> Who to add when you verify your company, how their ID is checked, and what to do while you wait on them.

The second task in [Verify your company](/eor/company-setup) is **Owners and directors**.

## Who to add

Add everyone who owns **25% or more** of the company, directly or through another company, and at least one person who **runs** it, such as a director. If no one owns 25%, add the directors.

A bar at the top shows how much of the company you've accounted for. Shares can add up to 100%, never more.

When you've added everyone, tick **No one else owns 25% or more** at the bottom. You can't submit without it.

## Adding a person

Click **Add a person**. If it's you, **This is me** fills in your name and email.

* **Name, email, phone and date of birth.** Each person needs their own email, and must be at least 18.
* **Their role:**
  * **Runs the company:** a director or senior manager, with their job title. At least one person must.
  * **Owns part of the company:** their share, from 0 to 100.
  * **Signs for the company:** signs your Omnivoo agreements. Exactly one person does.
* **Home address.** A PO box is not accepted.
* **Who adds their ID?**
  * **I'll add it now:** their ID number. What we accept depends on where they live, for example PAN, Aadhaar, voter ID, driving licence or passport in India, SSN in the US, and national ID in the countries where we can check one.
  * **They do:** after you submit, we email them a link to verify their ID and take a selfie. You still add their date of birth and home address.

Owners who live somewhere we can't check an ID number (for example the UK, Germany, Australia or Japan) need a **passport photo page**, or can choose **They do**.

You can save a person before you have everything. Their card says what's still needed, and the list is checked as a whole when you submit.

## Adding a company that owns part of yours

Click **Add a company as an owner** for a holding company or other business with 25% or more. Add its name, country, address and share, and upload proof of who owns it, such as a share register or partner register.

Then click **Add an owner of** it to add the people behind it: everyone who owns 25% or more of that company, and one person who runs it.

## Waiting on owners

If anyone verifies themselves, the page shows **Waiting on owners** after you submit, with each person still to finish:

* **Copy link:** send them their own link another way. Each link only works for that person.
* **Resend email:** email everyone still outstanding again.
* **Wrong email?** Correct their address and we send the link there.

We remind them after 2 days and again after 5. Once they've all finished, we check your company.
